The Charity Foundation for Prostate Cancer Invitational Poker Tournament is set for Sunday, June 1st, 2014 at Sapphire Las Vegas. Followed by the Golf Tournament on Monday, June 2nd at Bali Hai Golf Club.

This year the Poker Tournament will have Mike “The Mouth” Matusow hosting the event. Mike is an American professional poker player, Matusow’s nickname of “The Mouth” reflects his reputation for trash talking at the poker table. Matusow began playing poker seriously in the early 1999, first while working as a poker dealer, then as a professional player. His successes include being a four-time in The World Series of Poker bracelet winner,and the winner of the 2005 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions. On June 2nd, Golf Tournament participants will start registration at 10am. There is an 11:15 am tee off (shotgun scramble), and awards banquet @ Sapphire Las Vegas to immediately follow the tournament.

The Sapphire Foundation has set up 3 package options to participate. The first package is a Poker Tournament Donation of $300, of which includes: One (1) player position for poker tournament, dinner and cocktail party before the tournament, raffle entry and prizes. The Second option is a Full Poker Table Entry Donation of $2,600 of which includes: Corporate name and/or logo on the plaque for table, entry and dedicated table for (10) player position, (10) tickets to dinner and cocktail party before the tournament, raffle entry and prizes. Player registration is from 7pm to 8pm on Sunday June 1st and tournament begins at 8pm. We still have a few openings left so join us in raising awareness and playing poker for Prostate Cancer.
The Golf sponsors have separate packages available. One (1) team foursome, two (2) Caddies, complete team photo, Skybox and complimentary bottle of champagne and admission for up to four (4) at Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club for a $6,000 Sapphire Sponsorship. A Diamond Sponsor would cover one (1) team foursome, one(1) exclusive hole sponsorship, one (1) caddie, complete team photo, four (4) official event golf shirts, four (4) passes for awards ceremony/dinner at $3,000 for the team. Team (foursome) with one (1) foursome, four (4) official event golf shirts, four (4) passes for awards ceremony will be a $2,200 sponsorship donation and lastly a single player with one (1) official event golf shirt and one (1) pass for awards ceremony/ dinner.
This is seventh year for Charity Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer paired along with their invitational Golf Tournament the day following, the foundation has raised 1.5 million for the cause.
